The Office of Cancer Training and Education (OCTE) is a division within the Jonsson Comprehensive Cancer Center that provides support and guidance for the training and education of the next generation of cancer researchers and healthcare professionals. The aim of OCTE is to improve the quality of cancer care and advance the knowledge and skills of those working in the field. This is achieved through a range of programs and initiatives that offer training, mentorship, and career development opportunities for students, postdoctoral fellows, and early-career scientists. OCTE also supports the development and dissemination of educational resources for the cancer research and healthcare community, with a focus on advancing cancer research and improving patient care.
