Time to Talk

The UCLA Jonsson Comprehensive Cancer Center (JCCC) and the UCLA Chapter of the American Medical Women's Association (AMWA) present our Girls in STEM Video Series: The goal of the series is to introduce young students to the occupations and disciplines that are a part of a modern cancer center’s treatment, research and administration. Each video will feature an AMWA member interviewing a member of the JCCC team - from doctors, researchers and nurses to lab technicians, computer scientists, fundraising professionals and executive staff. We want to show that studying STEM subjects opens up a world of opportunities to young students considering careers in the medical field.
